The PTL (Parent Teacher League) at REL is dedicated to helping enrich the educational experience through various programs, events, and resources.

The REL PTL is run entirely by volunteers like you, our parents, grandparents, and teachers. 

The PTL sponsors many fundraisers throughout the year, such as Sally Foster, Scholastic Book Fairs, Candy Sales, Food Lion and Piggly Wiggly rewards, Campbell Soup Labels, and Sock Hop.  Proceeds from fundraisers benefit REL in various ways. Each year every teacher is given $100 for classroom supplies.  The profits from the book fair are used to purchase books for the library.  The PTL helps to fund the grounds maintenance around the school.  In 2006/2007 the PTL assisted with the purchase of a new school sign and new laptops for the library.  The PTL also sponsors many activities throughout the year.  These include the Open House, the Spelling Bee, Teacher Appreciation, and Grandparents Day.  These are just a few examples of how the PTL supports REL Academy to provide a quality education in a safe and secure environment. 

The PTL would not be successful without the involvement of the parents, grandparents, and teachers.  It is through your hard work and great ideas that allow the PTL to be successful in its endeavor to continually improve the REL educational experience.

The REL PTL meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 7 pm in the Canteen/Gym.
