Mrs. Julie McCutchen
Julie graduated from Francis Marion University in December 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She has been teaching for nine years. She began teaching Language Arts (7th grade) in August 1994 at Brunson-Dargan Junior High School in Darlington. After three years of teaching seventh grade, she moved to eighth grade Language Arts. In December 1999, she received her Masters in Education from Francis Marion University. She continued to teach in Darlington until August of 2003. She has taught a total of 13 years. She taught 2 years in second grade at REL and is now in her second year as a K5 teacher at REL. Her husband is a graduate of Robert E. Lee Academy. They wanted their children, a boy and a girl, to have the best opportunity available for a good education. "Not only was i fortunate enough to obtain a teaching position at Robert E. Lee, i am also able to be with my children." Most of her time is spent caring for her children and she enjoys watching them grow up. She teachs Sunday School and enjoys working with children. She says she hopes to continue teaching at Robert E. Lee Academy and watch her children’s education broaden with the wonderful teachers at this school. |
