David T. Windham lives in Lamar with his wife Teresa and their three daughters.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Francis Marion College in 1980. He has eighteen hours of Graduate credit above his Bachelor’s degree. His concentration was in Social Studies.
He has taught school for 24 years. He worked for 20 years in the Darlington County School District and for the past four years he has been at Robert E. Lee. He has also coached at different levels at Lamar High School, Spaulding Junior High, and at Robert E. Lee Academy. He has taught third, fifth, and sixth grade, and math lab during his teaching career.
His hobbies are sports, especially football, baseball, and softball. "I enjoy coaching these sports. I also enjoy doing genealogy research and shooting targets with my bow and arrow."
