THANK YOU!
We would like to thank everyone who helped make Relay For Life a success for REL and for Lee County.  Once again, REL raised over $10,000 and is the top fund raising team in the county.  Lee County's goal was $40,000, and that was also surpassed by several thousand dollars.

Congratulations to Board member Walby Craven who was the first to dunk Mr. Rizzo in the Dunking Booth!

A special thank you to Mr. Rizzo and board member Woody Beasley for being "dunked".

Thanks again for "stepping up to the fight"!
Karen and Laurie

Butterflies Everywhere!

Mrs. Stock's First Grade and Mrs. Davis' K3, with the help of Mrs. Raley, raised 4 butterflies from tiny caterpillars.  They set them free in the butterfly garden in late April.  Mrs. Odom's K5 Class completed a whole unit on the life cycle of the butterfly.  Check out the Featured Class to see pictures!

Recycling Contest Winners

The first grade students were challenged to recycle used materials.  Mrs. Rizzo's 3rd grade class judged the projects that were created.  Below are the winners: Meredith Tallon, Becca Watson, and Emme McCutchen.
