“Be a Smart Cookie – READ!”
We are excited about this new school year and are off to a great start in the library! The students are enjoying the many new books we have added to our collection. They are also eagerly awaiting cookies when they visit the library! This is just one of the fun ways we will reinforce our theme, “Be a Smart Cookie – READ!”.
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school October 1st – 5th! This is always a fun event and a great way to build your child’s home library. Your purchases also help add new books to our school library. Volunteers are needed so please let us know if you can help.
Please keep clipping those Box Tops! We are giving Cookie Monster one cookie for every 1,000 Box Tops we receive. We need 19 cookies to fill up his jar and meet our goal. Students receive a chocolate spoon for every ten box tops they bring to the library. Prizes for the Box Top contest will be awarded at the end of October.
