Debbie Babb
Mrs. Debbie Babb has over ten years of educational instructional experience in nursing education at Associate Degree level. She has a Masters Degree in Nursing with role emphasis in Nursing Education. Currently she teaches Biology I, Honors Biology II, Applied Biology II, and Earth Science.
In 1980 she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing form Clemson University. She graduated Cum Laude and was awarded the 1980 Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, Alpha Lamda Delta Honor Society, and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. In 1989 she graduated from University of South Carolina with a Master in Nursing Degree. He had a 4.0 GPA and specialized in the education and clinical medical surgical nursing areas. From 1988-1999 she was an educator in the Associate Degree Nursing Programs for Florence Darlington Technical College and Central Carolina Technical College.
She has received several teaching awards, including the Kraikit Faculty Teaching Award in 1990 and the Nisod Teaching Excellence Award from the National Institute of Staff and Organizational Development in 1994.
Mrs. Babb and her husband Perrin live in Bishopville with their one son, David. David also attends REL. Her hobbies include being a Master Gardner, crafts, walking, reading and nature.
