Rhonda Avant is married with two sons. She lives in Florence, SC. She received a Bachelor of Art degree in History from Francis Marion College in 1978. She is certified to teach at the secondary level, and also has experience teaching younger students. She is presently in her eighth year at Robert E. Lee Academy where she has enjoyed teaching high school social studies. Her hobbies include reading and making scrapbooks.
